The First Quarter of the Cowboys Season is Over
Week 4 is in the books, and it wasn’t exactly what Cowboy fans were hoping for. The Dallas Cowboys fell to the Los Angeles Rams 35-30 and picked up their second loss of the season. Now at 2-2, the Boys sit at 3rd place in the division. With an incredibly difficult schedule ahead, the road for our Cowboys back to the NFL Playoffs appears to be bleaker than most assumed.
A home bout with a young LA Rams team figured to be an easy W after regrouping last week with a big win in Arizona on Sunday night. Jared Goff and Todd Gurley had something else to say about this. Together the two provided the offense with an electric showing and proved to be no match for the Cowboys mediocre defense. The team simply abandoned the run in the second half and it proved to be costly once again. When will Jason Garrett learn? Let’s now look ahead. How does the remaining schedule look? Well the next 5 games will be a major test for this team. Facing the Packers, 49ers, Redskins, Chiefs and Falcons, sets the team up with a divisional showdown verse our rival, the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Philadelphia Eagles will come to town in week 11 showdown. Cowboys fans must bring the intensity and come to play as well as the team. We all saw the impressive showing Philadelphia fans put on this past week in San Diego. As the opposing team, it was reported that their fans made up of more than 70% of the entire attendance. It was a sea of green repping their Philadelphia Eagles gear. We can’t allow for that Philadelphia Eagles apparel to infiltrate our stadium. Even those Philadelphia Eagles retro jerseys, which are actually much more tasteful than their ugly green ones they wear now.
Let’s come together Cowboy fans, there is so much season to be played. With 25% in the books, we’ve only received just a sneak peak. However this little stint has been completely unacceptable. We are better than our mediocre record say. The Dallas Cowboys are a Super Bowl contender! Here is to a hopefully promising rest of the year. Let’s go BOYS!
